We Remember
Twelve members of our family were murdered in the Shoah. On 11 June 1999, at home on Dov Hoz Street in Herzliya, Bolek and Perla filled in a Page of Testimony for each of them, so that their names would be kept at Yad Vashem. These are their names.
Bolek's family · Brześć Kujawski, Poland
A grain merchant in Brześć Kujawski. A forced labourer at Fort Radziwill in Poznań, where his son Bolek was also held; he died there on 18 March 1942.
Bolek's mother. Murdered in the Shoah; place of death recorded as Chełm.
Bolek's eldest sister, a high-school student. Murdered in the Shoah.

Perla's family · Nelipyno, Subcarpathian Ruthenia
In April 1944 the family was taken to the Munkács ghetto, and in May to Auschwitz. Perla, 19, was the only one who came back.
Perla's father, a merchant in Nelipyno, son of Filip and Chaya Weiss. Murdered at Auschwitz. His grandson Meir Guy is named after him.
Perla's mother, born in Lokot. Taken with her family from the Munkács ghetto to Auschwitz in May 1944 and murdered there.
